Growing up living an active lifestyle was very normal to me I started dance at 3 years old and very quickly moved into the competitive group. The dance studio became my second home and I was there everyday after school. I danced throughout high school and into my adult years. As far as fitness specifically and working out I dabbled a little bit when my older sister would take me to the gym with her. I started going with her quite often but I didnt fall in love with it until after I had my daughter and became a mom. That was the first time my body had changed drastically and I hated the way I looked and felt ashamed of the weight I had gained. I started working out and eating better and after awhile I started losing weight. I started to become so confident and the gym became my therapy. It was my time to focus on me and not worry about being a mom just focus on working on myself. Fitness became such a passion of mine because working out and building better habits for myself made me a better mom. I knew I wanted to help any and all moms I could feel the way I felt after losing weight and gaining confidence. I got my AFAA group fitness certification and I look forward to working with moms that feel stuck and are ready for a change.
